Mark Brezzell
Our Educator and Health Coach Mark Brezzell is a speaker with over 26 plus years of Clinical and Medical Affairs experience. He is a former Cardiovascular Perfusionist who practiced at Toledo Hospital in Toledo OH. He has participated in well over 2000 Open Heart Surgical procedures during his 10 year tenure.
While there he specialized in Blood Salvage and Heart Failure support via Heart Assist Devices. He has been invited to speak at many National Scientific Venues. He received his Clinical training in Clinical Cardiovascular Perfusion Sciences from Johns Hopkins Hospital, School of Perfusion Sciences located in Baltimore MD. While there, Mark specialized in Cerebral Blood Flow Research as well as the study of Artificial Blood use in Cardiac Surgery. He has the honor of being their first African American to graduate from the program. He completed a three year internship in Genetic Toxicology at the University of Michigan, College of Pharmacy where he co-authored four technical publications in Cancer Research. Mark Brezzell is a dynamic and influential speaker known for his captivating presence and thought-provoking insights.
As a current Type 1 Diabetic, Mark is dedicating his life to sharing his experience dealing with this chronic condition. With a career spanning over two decades in health and wellness education, Mark has become a trusted advisor and advocate in raising diabetes awareness to this growing global epidemic.

Dr. Oniel Laucella is a doctorate-prepared double-board certified Nurse Practitioner and wellness strategist who serves as Partner and Chief Behavioral Intelligence Officer at NutriFlex AI. As a founding executive board member, he leads the company’s vision for human-centered, ethically grounded wellness intelligence.
He is the creator of the Behavioral Intelligence Framework, which he uses to guide how NutriFlex AI brings emotional, behavioral, and environmental insights together with the company’s decision support technology. This model supports user autonomy, clarity, and psychologically safe engagement throughout the platform.
In his role, Dr. Laucella directs the development of behavior-informed system models, adaptive feedback methods, and human-factors principles that promote trust and accessibility. He oversees the behavioral ethics review process and advises on responsible AI practices that align with NutriFlex AI’s commitment to transparency and supportive guidance.
He leads initiatives that enhance wellness innovation, digital engagement, and user education, collaborating across teams to strengthen interdisciplinary impact and support the company’s mission.
He also serves in a clinical advisory capacity, offering guidance that supports the development of educational wellness tools without providing diagnosis or treatment. His work focuses on strategic direction, user experience, and ethical design.
