Dr. Oniel Laucella is a doctorate-prepared double-board certified Nurse Practitioner and wellness strategist who serves as Partner and Chief Behavioral Intelligence Officer at NutriFlex AI. As a founding executive board member, he leads the company’s vision for human-centered, ethically grounded wellness intelligence.
He is the creator of the Behavioral Intelligence Framework, which he uses to guide how NutriFlex AI brings emotional, behavioral, and environmental insights together with the company’s decision support technology. This model supports user autonomy, clarity, and psychologically safe engagement throughout the platform.
In his role, Dr. Laucella directs the development of behavior-informed system models, adaptive feedback methods, and human-factors principles that promote trust and accessibility. He oversees the behavioral ethics review process and advises on responsible AI practices that align with NutriFlex AI’s commitment to transparency and supportive guidance.
He leads initiatives that enhance wellness innovation, digital engagement, and user education, collaborating across teams to strengthen interdisciplinary impact and support the company’s mission.
He also serves in a clinical advisory capacity, offering guidance that supports the development of educational wellness tools without providing diagnosis or treatment. His work focuses on strategic direction, user experience, and ethical design.
